JHyder Posted July 11, 2020 Posted July 11, 2020 I don’t readily see this capability but thought I’d ask. Is it programmatically possible to control the On/Off LED of the 2477S SwitchLinc? Id like to use the LED as an indicator for something else and would like to be able to set the LED to the upper (ON) position or the lower (Off) position via a program without turning the switch itself on or off. FYI: The switch is part of a 3 switch cluster next to the door which goes from the kitchen area to the garage. This particular switch controls a light that is seldom used and I’d like to program the LED to reflect the status of the garage door (eg, LED top if garage is open, bottom if closed). I just don’t see a way to control the LED status via a program. That likely means there is no way to do this but I thought I’d check here. I’m running v4.80.
lilyoyo1 Posted July 11, 2020 Posted July 11, 2020 No. There is a zwave switch that can do that if you have any zwave devices. It's the Hs200 (I believe that's the model#) from homeseer
jec6613 Posted July 12, 2020 Posted July 12, 2020 In the spec, yes, you can split the load and switch, but, de facto, no, unless you're willing to do some work in a serial console with a PLM.
JHyder Posted July 13, 2020 Author Posted July 13, 2020 It's not worth the trouble I suppose. I have read the motion sensors have increased programming options with v5 and was hoping for something similar with the 2477S. Thanks all.
