smarthome_newbie Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 Updated Java on my Mac today and when trying to open admin console the Java logo would just hang and never open. I tried downloading the start.jnlp file and now when I click on that the blue UD logo pops and then goes away. No icon on desktop. I've tried troubleshooting steps but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?
smarthome_newbie Posted July 25, 2020 Author Posted July 25, 2020 After an hour of trying different things, I decided to try uninstalling java and reinstalling. It's working now. Resolved.
Geddy Posted July 27, 2020 Posted July 27, 2020 If happens in the future be sure to clear java cache - specifically for MAC users. I ran into similar issues on my windows machine and only way to get the icon on the desktop again was to clear the cache.
