On my 99i/r I upgraded the SD Card from the original 512mb to a 4gb ScanDisk HC card. The unit would not boot up and the error light would flash. My questions are - what type of SD card is needed? Is the ScanDiskHC not compatible and what type of format should the card be formated with?

Brian yes I followed the procedures. When I turn the unit on after inserting the new SD card the error light just blinks and I can not see it on my network.

Hi aaron,

 

You should be able to get to 16GB AS LONG AS you are on 2.7.6 and above. So, please upgrade to 2.7.6 before trying your 8GB SD Card. Also, you might want to format your card using FAT.
