ISY99 locking up...

Featured Replies

Posted

I have been on 2.7.6 FW for my ISY 99 for some time now. However, over the last couple weeks, it has stopped working (i.e. lights won't turn on, i can't see it on the network). I unplug it and plug it back in and then it starts working again. It's to the point that I have to reboot it every two days to keep it working.

Any ideas on what could be going on as I haven't changed anything in the last two weeks and I rarely had this behavior over the 1.5 yrs that I have been using it.

When you reset are you unplugging the PLM? If so would you try by disconnecting the cable between the PLM and the ISY? That will tell us if it is the PLM of the ISY locking up.

I am currently unplugging the PLM and nothing else. I will also try disconnecting the cable between the two.

Hi kevincol,

Please let me know what version of PLM you have + please send your log file to support@universal-devices.com

With kind regards,

Michel

I tried disconnecting the cable between the PLM and the ISY also. It still is locked up.

Hello kevincol,

Is it now locked up all the time (not every 2 days)? If so, can you tell me the status of the LED lights on the front panel?

Would you be kind enough to contact our tech support to schedule a tech support call? We can login remotely and diagnose the problems.

With kind regards,

Michel

Very similar problem, AND not showing status correctly most of the time. Have sent log file and info to support at universal-devices.com. Thanks.
