pagerr Posted August 25, 2020 Posted August 25, 2020 Hello everyone, I have an ISY994i PRO the firmware and UI is v.5.0.16B, I also have a Polisy V.2 I am interested in sending a notification to my Alexa, and receiving the notification without having saying "Alexa read notifications" I have installed the "notify Me" skill and it works well but I have to know that I have received a notification, and say Alexa read notifications. I have a Fire TV and an Alexa Show in my den, a Sonos one in my kitchen, and none of these will light indicating I have received a notification. If I am in my den or kitchen when receiving the notification, I will have no way of knowing one has been received. I have set up to receive notifications if my garage door is left open, and if my front door, side door, and side gate have been opened, and would like to receive immediate notification of these occurrences. Thank you for your assistance.

Thank you for your assistance. Polisy, polyglot and NS not required. Create a state variable like this $sSayHowAreYou In ISY Portal use the variable to create a pseudo MS unit with value = 1 = On. Give it a name like "HowAreYou" Alexa...discover! In Alexa app on a smart phone (not Windows) create a routine using the pseudo MS (HowAreYou) as an On trigger, use a custom vocal as a output and select your speakers. Trigger by flashing your variable to 1 and then back to 0 about 10 seconds later. Never attempt triggers faster than every 30 seconds.
