rchairston Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 Hello All, I have started seeing RED exclamation symbols near some of the switches. I am sure it is some error but for what? I am also having to switch out older switches for "multiple switches set up" ex one end of a hallway. When replacing the failed switch the new one doesn't work or link up. Any help on these two items will be greatly appreciated.
larryllix Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 Did you factory reset each device before linking it to ISY? Did you do a compare of the links found in the devices to what ISY has?
Brian H Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 (edited) This also applies to the presently sold ISY994i https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY-99i/ISY-26_INSTEON:Red_Exclamation_Mark Edited October 25, 2020 by Brian H
MrBill Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 in addition to @Brian H's link here's another one to help with replacing devices: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY-99i/ISY-26_INSTEON:Replacing_a_Device please note the spot that says "The device being replaced must not be inside a folder". which also applies to the new device. 1
