I believe my current user name is causing some issues for me. If you mean a portal account at https://my.isy.io and log in. Once logged in look for "My Profile" in the top left corner and click it. woodchip Posted November 2, 2020 Author Posted November 2, 2020 Michel, Eight years ago, when I opened a UDI account and purchased my first UDI device, I chose to use my email address as username for that account (a common practice at the time). I typically only log into my UDI account to download updates or on rare occasions when I require customer support, and only after first researching potential fixes in the forum. In mid-October I had need to access that account and open a ticket regarding a problem I was experiencing. A problem occurring while attempting to order the new UDI series 500 Z-Wave dongle. This was my first experience with the new ISY Portal. Somehow, perhaps at this time, perhaps inadvertently, a second account was created. Since that time, I have opened 7 tickets and closed 6. It is this 7th ticket which has become a source of frustration for the both of us. The 7th ticket “[Ticket #10095] Z-Wave series 300 to series 500 upgrade” as opened, is a request for assistance with the 300 to 500 dongle upgrade. At some point Michel, we went down a rabbit hole with email addresses. In hind sight, I believe the email item should have been opened as a separate ticket. I have researched this “email” issue and found I had properly changed the email address on my forum account and one of the 2 UDI web accounts correctly back on September 29, 2020. Currently the email address associated with my UDI account, my UDI forum account and my Portal account is correct. The issue is with the “username” (NOT email) for the UDI My Account web. On Monday, October 19, 2020 12:55 PM you wrote “Not sure why you keep using sbcglobalnet email address for tickets. I have already changed everything to att.net. With regard to the forum, please use ISY Portal to login.” Actually, I had already changed every thing I could change back at the end of September. It is my UDI username that is being mistakenly taken as the email address for tickets and/or responses “raised by” my UDI account. In retrospect, ever since September 29 every response I have received from UDI web and/or Forum have been correctly addressed to the ATT address. I assumed as Admin you were correct and I was doing something wrong. I now think that was an incorrect in that assumption. At this time, and prior to any changes to my account(s) I would like to have the original issue addressed. That of “[Ticket #10095] Z-Wave series 300 to series 500 upgrade”. After we resolve the dongle ticket, I will open a new ticket to explore if you or another of your admins can assist me with the username issue. Does this sound reasonable? Respectfully J.K.
