palayman Posted December 26, 2020 Posted December 26, 2020 Chrome wouldn't let me in. Getting this error from Chrome: forum.universal-devices.com normally uses encryption to protect your information. When Google Chrome tried to connect to forum.universal-devices.com this time, the website sent back unusual and incorrect credentials. This may happen when an attacker is trying to pretend to be forum.universal-devices.com, or a Wi-Fi sign-in screen has interrupted the connection. Your information is still secure because Google Chrome stopped the connection before any data was exchanged. You cannot visit forum.universal-devices.com right now because the website uses HSTS. Network errors and attacks are usually temporary, so this page will probably work later. Ideas? Had to use MIcrosoft edge to get in after it warned me as well. Quote
lilyoyo1 Posted December 26, 2020 Posted December 26, 2020 Looks like their certificate has expired. They have to update it 1 Quote
Brian H Posted December 26, 2020 Posted December 26, 2020 I got the same expired certificate warning from FireFox. Expiration date was early this morning. I did a temporary exemption for the site. Until a new certificate is issued. Quote

Interesting; my Firefox gave me this: What can you do about it? forum.universal-devices.com has a security policy called HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), which means that Firefox can only connect to it securely. You can’t add an exception to visit this site. Had to move to a different browser. Quote
Brian H Posted December 27, 2020 Posted December 27, 2020 (edited) Probably a later Firefox. That will not run on my old computer. Edited December 27, 2020 by Brian H Quote

It was UDI's certificate expiring (just like both browsers stated) and it has been replaced now. Quote
Brian H Posted December 27, 2020 Posted December 27, 2020 Well I am still getting an Unsecured site message about an Invalid certificate. Quote
