edentel Posted January 3, 2021 Posted January 3, 2021 Ok so I'm working toward jumping away from Homeseer and I've got the ISY in place, Polyglot running in a virtual machine, and now starting to migrate test devices over. So far everything is looking good. The last little hurdle I'm worried about is support for a pair of Leviton VRCS4-M0Z 4 button scene controllers. The only post I saw referenced it back in 2016 and awaiting multichannel support in 5.0 code. I don't need them to behave as scene controllers, just as 4 unique button pushes that trigger events to adjust Bali/Graber Zwave blinds. They were a real PITA to setup in Homeseer and the blinds "just working" are a huge part of the wife acceptance factor. Is anyone using these in ISY as a trigger device at all? Appreciate any input!

I don't use them but would recommend making sure you are on the latest firmware when you get started (5.3.1) to ensure the greatest chance at success
edentel Posted January 5, 2021 Author Posted January 5, 2021 It looks like a no go. I'm on 5.3.1 and when I pair the device it comes over as a controller with the only options being query and write changes. No direct control, and no way to query the button states via a program.

Do the buttons show up? What about using programs
edentel Posted January 5, 2021 Author Posted January 5, 2021 The only buttons that appear are Query and Write changes. Under programming there is nothing to check status or change status of the buttons or scenes. It just shows up an an empty controller.
lilyoyo1 Posted January 5, 2021 Posted January 5, 2021 It probably requires custom coding to make it work with the Isy. I would put a story ticket in with udi to see if they can add it
edentel Posted May 8, 2021 Author Posted May 8, 2021 In case anyone stumbles on this post looking for an answer.... I trudged along using a Micromote for awhile. This week I found the Zooz Zen32 5 button keypads and orderd a pair. They were detected by the ISY perfectly fine and I could setup programs with the trigger of on for each of the buttons. They have an advanced settings listing on the Zooz site so I could setup all of the LEDs as disabled and unlink the large button from the relay. It allows for an easy way to trigger 5 scenes from a Decora size hole. Side note the switch itself has multiple tap combinations supported under another platform out of the box. With ISY it looks like you can trigger on tap or hold.
xlurkr Posted May 9, 2021 Posted May 9, 2021 @edentel: Can you detail what you did to get it to work, if anything? Did it just get discovered and create all of the right nodes automatically? I have a Zen32, and the scene controller functions are not working. I'm on 5.0.16C though, with the series 300 dongle. I just bought the series 500 dongle, and am looking for motivations to install it. This could be one. -Tom
xlurkr Posted May 9, 2021 Posted May 9, 2021 @edentel: Sorry, but I missed your response to my Zen32 thread. I think you made it very clear. -Tom
