dpierre Posted January 6, 2021 Share Posted January 6, 2021 Aeotec states this sensor works with the ISY. I purchase one and it enrolled in the network fine but it only displays two windows. One is a "Notify Senor" with the state of the battery the second is "Binary Sensor" With nothing in the window. There are some configuration parameters (see screenshot). I don't see anything related to temps or humidity. I'm running z-wave version 4.55, bootloader version 1.03. If anyone is running this sensor with good results I'd appreciate your thoughts. Specifically wondering it it's z-wave or z-wave+ @DennisC is exactly correct that you have an original Series 300 z-wave board in the ISY (a 500 series board would report v6.81). This means that you can't directly upgrade to 5.3.0 as suggested by @Jimbo. You can however upgrade the ISY firmware to version 5.0.16C if your aren't already there. To move beyond 5.0.16C you much upgrade your z-wave board first. UDI has special pricing based on the age of your ISY, contact support@universal-devices.com for more info on upgrading. I installed the temperature and humidity sensor and found it to be unreliable, I finally gave up and uninstalled it. I had numerous nodes, one that showed temperature, humidity and dewpoint, a notify node that showed battery condition, plus a bunch of phantom nodes. I performed a firmware upgrade and thought I had the z-wave devices backed-up (I didn't). The ISY lost all of my z-wave devices. The addresses are still in the devices, so I can't exclude then and re-enroll them/include. Kinda stuck here. Looks like I will have to do factory resets on EVERYTHING! I have two RCS thermostats (TZ45R) Can't locate how to do that, been looking all over the web... nothing. Left a message with RCS, they have yet to get with me and and a SOMFY z-wave bridge (zursti) haven't even looked at that yet. Guess you know what I'll be doing this weekend. If you guys have any clue about resetting the thermostats or bridge would appreciate your thoughts AGAIN. Once to get everything back to normal, this AEOTEC sensor is going on ebay!
