Has anyone had issues with smart-homeproducts.com?

Hello, I am a new ISY user and I ordered the INSTEON 2413S from smart-homeproducts.com (this seems to be where most get their parts from, correct?). However that was back on Jan 4th and it still shows as not yet shipped. I've tried filling out their web form, emailing, and calling (no answer/voicemail). Normally I would consider this a scam site but it seems like a lot of people that get the ISY order from them.... Has anyone had this kind of experience with them or is anyone aware of something that has changed recently?  Thanks!

I don't order from Smarthome or Insteon directly, any more. My last order, was for three devices and all three items became, or arrived, defective. One a=was an iRLinc and the sensor was wired backwards! No QC! Just non-functional QA.
In Canada I would have had to pay for shipping to return them for inspection, before credit or replacement, and pay the shipping them for three ways. With a three for three record, I could consider the SmartHome sales outlet a scam, also.

However, I am still an Insteon person, and order my Insteon stuff from aartech.ca in Canada, where they will replace anything thay has had a decent testing reason. I can get product within one to two days, instead of weeks for SM to decide the best time of the month to ship product via snail mail across the border at very high shipping rates.

Are you seeing that Aartech seems to have less and less Insteon products available recently? For example, they currently aren't showing any LampLinc devices on their site! It may be that their revamped website only shows items that are actually in stock and perhaps due to Covid their supply is really low! Just before Christmas, based on their lack of Insteon product, I was wondering I should switch away from Insteon! However, I do see that one product that wasn't showing on their site (before Christmas) is now back in stock! So, I'm hoping it is just a production issue!

Yeah. Insteon is not fast at anything apparently but the COVID-19 has ground shipping down to weeks whereas it was Two Day ServiceTM before. It has also made people stay at home and some businesses do not do well with that, and some do.

I ordered a PLM from aartech.ca back in December and they told me it may be a while. When I thought my PLM was limping along I had no alternative. Luckily my 7 year old original PLM is still working, while the replacement fro SmartHome has bit the dust after a few months of trial. Eventually the new PLM v2.5 came from aartech.ca. Insteon is not dead...just injured badly, more than usual.
