I noticed that my isy launcher was missing on my desktop, so pulled down the current version of start.jnlp and tried to open it with Java web launcher.  Just keep error Unable to launch the application.

 

Any thoughts?

What OS are you using?  Have you looked at the wiki about installing the java console?

Windows 10, think it might have something to do with the New Edge.  Will go back to the Wiki.

 

This was corrected when I made sure it opened in internet explorer, not Edge.

There's been issues with Windows Updates, but more than likely you also had a java update. It's always a good idea to clear the Java cache following a java update and then reload the launcher.

Microsoft keeps making it difficult for the java to run, but it's working. Just causes issues many were not expecting when other programs "update" or planned obsolescence.
