hchain Posted April 23, 2021 Posted April 23, 2021 When backing up my ISY, I now get this error (last few weeks): Could not Retrieve File/CONF/UDFLPL.XML Can someone point me to a solution?
Michel Kohanim Posted April 25, 2021 Posted April 25, 2021 @hchain, If you can telnet to ISY, please type the following on the command prompt: RF /CONF/UDFLPL.XML If not, please take the SD Card out, put it in an SD Card reader, navigate to that file and remove it. With kind regards, Michel
hchain Posted April 26, 2021 Author Posted April 26, 2021 I am trying to connect with Telnet without success. Not sure if it is necessary with Telnet but I can't Enable Internet Access in ISY (Error: Failed Enabling Internet Access). I have setup port forwarding on my eero router. Both commands in Telnet "Telnet 192.168.1.80" and "Telnet 192.168.1.80 8150" give me an Invalid Command error. Is there something I need to check/change? RV
larryllix Posted April 27, 2021 Posted April 27, 2021 (edited) Telnet is not the Internet and no Internet access is needed. Port forwarding is not needed and should not be enabled much, if at all. The IP addresses you are posting would not even work outside your LAN. I forget the syntax for Telnetting (look it up on duckduckgo.com) but it is done from an open command window on your PC or laptop. https://www.lifewire.com/what-is-telnet-2626026 Edited April 27, 2021 by larryllix
hchain Posted April 27, 2021 Author Posted April 27, 2021 Thanks, Michel and Larry. All good now. I was just not opening the connection in Telnet using the o command. Shame on me. 1
