What are each of the 3 LEDs used for?

The right most LED is continually flashing. I think it started after I initiated a Polisy Update. It's been 20 minutes, still flashing.

It continued to flash for a couple hours. I did a Polisy reboot but that didn't help. So I did a Polisy shutdown and then pulled the plug. Everything started up okay and now the light is out. Just the left most LED is on. So I guess everything is normal again.

Sounds like you just did a major upgrade.

I have seen my RPis take 5 to 6 hours for a major upgrade, including most packages and an OS upgrade.

I hope I didn’t ruin something by pulling the plug. Seems okay. BTW, I don’t see how to backup Polisy, just a restore. Can it be backed up to a network drive?

Under Settings > Polisy Configuration, click the [Download] button right above and save the file wherever you want.

Duh? I saw that and thought Download to Polisy. Does it backup the whole system or just Polygot node server installs? Thanks. Phil

It's just the node servers.

Okay thanks. One last question. Any idea what the LEDs indicate?

I doubt it but with linux (RPi) and freeBSD (polisy) you can run the update/upgrade lines again and it will sort out what isn't up to date.

I can't find this in the WiKi.

UDI Support gave me this information.

Left = Power

Middle = Tx

Right = Rx

Left + Middle + Right blinking = error

Middle and/or Right blinking = upgrading (this may take a while depending on the number of packages)

I'm glad you asked them.  I've been wondering since you asked the question.  My Polisy's are located in a place where I never see them unless I specifically go there to add/change or unpower/repower something.  After you asked I looked at the same wiki page expecting the answer to be there, but it really isn't.  Other than power tho, I'm not sure I would be confident reading the meaning... if I needed to know because a specific problem was attracting my eye towards them I'd probably email support anyway.
