Leak Detectors sending false alarms

Recommended Posts

Good morning,

Every now and then my leak detectors will start sending false alarms.  It seams to start in the basement and work its way up to the second floor.

Once one starts the all will do the same then none for months at a time.

Thaks.

I've never seen that happen like that. If replace the batteries factory reset then, and restore then into your isy

I have 5 LDs running for a few years and have never seen that before. Is it the Wet, Dry or Alive heartbeat signal? How are you detecting these "false alarms"?

How old is your PLM?

The PLM would have nothing to do with his leak detectors reporting false status. Especially in absence of poor communication

Could you post the programs that monitors the Leak Detectors?  Maybe it's written incorrectly, or perhaps it's a heartbeat program and the message you are receiving is misleading you into thinking it's a false alarm.

To paste programs into the forum it's really easy... just right click the program name and pick "copy to clipboard" then in the forum push the <> button in the toolbar and a window will pop up, click into the window and type Control-v.
