Moshe Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 I am using version 2.7.6. Recently I am having problems with programs not running. Everything has been going great for months and now all of sudden some of my programs do not run. I am able to control all switches from computer with no problems. Any ideas? Thanks Quote
MikeB Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 I think you'll need to provide a bit more information. What do the programs that are not running have in common? Are they triggered by INSTEON devices, or simply run on a schedule? You also might consider posting the programs you are having issues with. Quote
Michel Kohanim Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Hi Moshe, it's possible that your ISY has gone back to 1941 (please check your logs to ensure this is the case). If so, this is a know issue and fixed in 2.7.7. If you are interested, please send an email to support@universal-devices.com. With kind regards, Michel Quote
Moshe Posted December 13, 2009 Author Posted December 13, 2009 Michel - MikeB You are correct my log does show a quite a few 1941 entries. Here are a few. I have since retuned it back to the 10/100 switch. Thanks [/code] Quote
Michel Kohanim Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Hi Moshe, thanks. I do not think the problem was Cisco related. It's surely network related but we didn't have enough constraints in ISY to throw away bad NTP dates. With kind regards, Michel Quote
Moshe Posted December 13, 2009 Author Posted December 13, 2009 Michel - So do you think it is o.k. to plug the ISY into a switch that can do 1 GIG. The port is auto sensing. Thanks Quote
Moshe Posted December 14, 2009 Author Posted December 14, 2009 Michel - MikeB - The only fix is to upgrade to the 2.7.7. Thanks Quote
Brian H Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 My setup did the same thing a few times. For now the other fix is turn off automatic time checks and set it maybe every few days. I decided to go that way as I didn't want an alpha firmware. Though it has been reported to be very stable. Quote
