It appears that you have the 500 series board and just need to follow the ISY firmware upgrade instructions in my earlier post.

I have inherited a 300 Zwave board. it has the LED and not sure if I want to break into Zwave yet but would like to test some things. IIRC it was v5.0.16c ?
Do you remember the highest V5 version that can support it?

Hi, Techman.  Circling back with you on the result of my case...

Michel assisted me.  After sending him a photo of the dongle, he confirmed it is a series 500.  He had no comment on as to why it's working in a 4.6.2 system but, he did tell me I have to upgrade to 5.3.4

Thanks again.

larryllix,

I'm not sure, you'll probably have to ask Michel. I know that the 500 series board requires a minimum of 5.2.,0

You could try installing it with your current firmware and either it will work or not, no harm done

5.0.16c is the highest firmware that supports the 300 board. Support for the 500 series came in 5.0.13
