Just wanted to say thanks. ISY Portal is currently offline, so I found your app, bought it, tried it, it works over local network with no portal required. WoooooO!!!!!

I'm sorry, I would leave you a good review on Google Apps but my google account is "corporate" and they don't allow app reviews on a corporate account, boo. So this thanks will have to do.

Interesting. How does this compare to UD Mobile and Home Assistant ?

well, as advertised, it is extremely simple & barebones, so I'm not sure it's fair to compare. Also, apparently, it cannot use the portal, however it can do both internal & external access but that means you'd have to cut a hole in your firewall, I guess, which is the whole pain that the portal avoids. I'm just impressed that it does exactly what it says it does, and works!  Hope that helps,

Always interesting to see how fellow ISY users help improve ease-of-use, especially for the low-techies like me.

Right now I am focused on using UD Mobile on my Iphone, when out of the home and Home Assistant in Chrome, when wanting to change (on/off) my devices.  I also added control of most used programs to Home Assistamnt dashboard (was it @MrBill who helped me ?) and now I open the Administrative Console far less often.

I do have both Google Home and Alexa for voice control, but still find HA and UD Mobile more convenient (for me).

I will look at Simple Home Controller, but I am ok for the time being.

Thanks Ralph! I had the same issue last night - I said "Alexa, goodnight" and nothing happened! I opened up my bedside tablet and clicked off everything just fine in my app. So glad I wrote that thing!
