Fixing bad device links !

I had a bad plm that I replaced however the backup file that i had, I don’t think was entirely up to date.  I have a few devices that have ! (Red Exclamation marks) beside them.  Tried restore device but if it’s not right in the isy… how do I fix device links.

Delete the device in ISY.
Factory reset the device.
Reinstall.

Tried that with one switch and it will not reinstall.  Error cannot determine Insteon engine in switch I’m presuming.  I’m currently tying… right click on device.  Show isy links table.  Load from old backup before new plm for the device with !

Firmware and UI? What do you mean it's not right in the Isy

If I go to my post light.  Right click and go to show device links table I get that error

That's part of your problem. Both firmware and UI needs to match.

Update your firmware. Once done, unplug your isy, wait 10 seconds and plug it back in

Ok thanks.  Done both 4.9.0.  
system busy.  Updating.  
I’ll check back tomorrow evening if this does not resolve the red exclamations beside a few of the devices.

No does not resolve.

platform errors 7066.  2 switches are 20 years old.  1 other device might be 7 yr. Old.

Most of my Insteon devices are about 7 years old. On suspicion, I just replaced my PLM this year.
