kcrossley Posted January 6, 2010 Share Posted January 6, 2010 Michel, For some reason, my whole Insteon network is screwed up. As you know, I'm still using an ISY-26, but I'm unable to communicate with many of my Insteon devices. I'm not even sure how to begin troubleshooting this problem. kcrossley Posted January 6, 2010 Author Share Posted January 6, 2010 I tried eliminating one of the scenes and it looks like my ISY-26 in a forever loop. The message dialog box simply states "System Busy" but keeps repeating. It's been doing this for about 30 minutes and I am unable to break out of it. kcrossley Posted January 7, 2010 Author Share Posted January 7, 2010 HOLY COW! I just discovered the problem. For some reason my PLM wasn't working. I unplugged it and the ISY-26 and reconnected both. Everything is working now. Loose the PLM and it'll take down your whole system, which makes sense. I wonder if I should order a backup? These PLMs did have a problem when faced with many operations at the same time (we used to call it "tiredness"). If your PLM has any of these versions, I would surely recommend a replacement/backup. I thought it was the ISY-26. Sorry. Anyway, not to make you do all of my work, but can post a link to the PLM I should purchase? Thanks Michel.
