maui4marko Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 I apologize in advance if I missed the thread, but I seem to no longer be able to save email / cell addresses. I had this working in 2.4.12 but now when I add them, they show up on the right pane, and I can appear to save them...but if I exit ISY and come back to the Configuration tab the next time they are gone. I saw the post re: 2.4.13 fixes referencing the removal of notification settings from Configuration tab. Am I missing something or just in my usual late-night instefog? Trying to set up a Home Alone button that notifies me when my son gets home from school. TIA, marko For Next Drop -For 2.4.13 - Fixes - Removed notification settings from Configuration tab
Michel Kohanim Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 Marko, You're 100% correct. This is a regression and has already been fixed. Unfortuantely, you cannot save your notifications setting on this release unless you already had one stored. Or, if you wish, you can use http://www.universal-devices.com/beta just to save your configuration settings and then revert back to your default URL for ISY. With kind regards, Michel I apologize in advance if I missed the thread, but I seem to no longer be able to save email / cell addresses. maui4marko Posted November 14, 2007 Author Posted November 14, 2007 When are the notification settings going to make it back in? Just installed 2.4.15 and still cannot save email/mobile settings.
Michel Kohanim Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 Hello Marko, They are back! Would you be kind enough to clear your Java cache and retry? Thanks and with kind regards, Michel When are the notification settings going to make it back in? Just installed 2.4.15 and still cannot save email/mobile settings.
maui4marko Posted November 14, 2007 Author Posted November 14, 2007 Hello Michel, Oops, sorry forgot to clear the cache... it works now, but here are some comments: - Time is incorrect (off by several minutes) ... I assume this is due to your mail server clock difference - Text is incorrect: it states the On has turned to Off when in reality it was the other way around - Minor item but can the "In the" on line 3 be removed? Personally, I would prefer just listing the device name and the change in status. Or even better: give me a choice of my own text. This is from KPL button G/7 going from off to on: If Control '*Home Alone' is switched On Then Send Notification to All Thanks ... every thing else is checking out OK. Great job!
Chris Jahn Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 1) You are correct about the reasons for the time difference. 2) I'll take a look at why it is sending 'Off' instead of 'On'. 3) I agree, the mail templates for these messages need to be cleaned up, and made customizable, although I'm not sure if it will make it in the 2.5 release. Thanks for the feedback!
