Need to add Access Points to ISY GUI?

I've decided to do a full factory reset of all my switches. In doing so I realize a question I have: Is it necessary to make the ISY99i aware of the access points? Do I need to add them to the "my lighting" in the ISY GUI or do they just act passively without adding them?

 

Just curious, and thanks in advance.

They do not need to be (nor can they be) added to the ISY or anything else. As you put it "they are passive" to the system.

Also Access Points don't link to each other. The LED tests are for communication and phase placement tests.
