jkraus Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 (edited) Ok, longtime ISY user, not so much using Alexa integration and IFTTT. I bought a YoLink motion sensor (cheap and just to play with), and thought it would be a good learning experience to learn IFTTT and Alexa integration. So any suggestion to get started? meaning, want to use the motion sensor to trigger either IFTTT or Alexa (not sure which or both) to turn on my ISY controlled light for 5 minutes and then turn off it not another motion detected (just like an insteon motion sensor). Any help getting started is appreciated Edited April 21, 2022 by jkraus

jkraus Posted April 22, 2022 Author Posted April 22, 2022 wow, terminology a bit confusing, but got it to work, and works great!! thanks! too Bad I now see the IFTTT is limited to 5 free appletts, an have to pay for more. BTW YoLink with LoRA technology seems to be working great. Planning on using it for Motion sensor but also a long range Temperature sensor for my pool Thanks again
