OK, headed into Z-wave to complement my extensive insteon install, for obvious reasons.

I would just buy the Z-Wave USB stick from UD for the Polisy, but the shipping (to Canada) is twice the cost of the unit! I should have just added it to my recent Polisy order!, But, if I have to splurge on the shipping, I suppose I will ...

But, wondering if I could just grab the same stick from a more local supplier. Here is one, appears to be the same hardware:

Right now your best source would be The Smartest house which is selling it for $28.95, not sure what the shipping would be. UD has them for $32.00. Just make sure you get the ZST10 700 and not the 500

You should also buy this adapter otherwise the dongle will block the other USB slot.

Oddly, looks like Smartest ships all over, but not to Canada, or there is a bug in their shopping cart.

Amazon will get it to me tomorrow, so easiest. Description has 700 all over it.

Z-Wave Plus v2 is only included in the 700.

Apparently they are the Canadian partner to Smartest Home in the US.

They have a ton of Z-Wave stuff, I've already purchased a number.

I did want to add the Aeotech extender as a first step, but they don't carry it curiously. Aartech does, even though they don't have that many Z-Wave products, yet, anyway.
