Moved from Insteon hub to Polisy - keypad no longer works

I started adding my Insteon devices to the Polisy this morning.  In my detached garage, I had a keypad with 6 buttons - on, off, and A through D.  A through D controlled the three garage door controllers and the on/off buttons controlled the lights.  I expected the doors to become disconnected from it when I started over, but not the lights.  When I press the buttons, nothing happens.  When I use the UD mobile app, they turn on.  In the mobile app the keypad shows up as a single switch.  In the admin console, I can see that it has button configuration is available for A thru D, but not the on/off buttons.  The keypad is hardwired as the switch for those lights.  Any idea why they stopped working and how to fix it?  I'm completely new at ISY - still trying to figure out what everything means.

You will likely be asked to furnish these before we can help:

Please include Firmware Version (FW) and User Interface (UI) version found in the Help -> About section of Admin Console.

Having said that, my 6 button switch looks like this in my AC:

Are you moving to your Polisy from a previous installation? If so, did you 'reset' the switch? If not, try that and then add it back using your AC.

There are no separate on/off buttons in the admin console for the 6 button kpl. The main button you see (see attached picture in post above) is the load. since it turns on and off, they are together not separate.

I believe he is saying none of the buttons at the KPL are working and that he must use the app to turn the lights on and off.

I thought I'd help to at least get the lights working with the switch and then show him how to program the buttons A to D.

FW and UI are both Polisy v5.4.3

Resetting it did the trick on the lights.  Now for some more studying to figure out how to get it to control the other light circuit and the doors.  Thanks!

For the buttons (A - D) I like to put them in a 'Scene' and then control the scene. Here's a couple of mine for example:

I made a scene with button A, the Insteon garage door opener and the associated sensor.  That worked to open the garage door, as I had it set up before.  The B and C buttons were setup to open the other two doors and D opened all of them.  Even after the reset, but before I added B,C, and D to scenes, they still work as before.  Not sure why.  I didn't reset the opener side.  Maybe it re-established the link?  ISY isn't showing a link in the admin console.  I like that it is working, but not that it is working for an unknown reason.

I don't have the garage door opener, so someone with more knowledge on those may chime in here.

I'm gonna guess you didn't reset anything before installing your new Polisy, so there are likely links in those openers from your old installation still present.

I think the link is still in the hardware.  In Polisy, the relay for garage door B has no links and neither does button B.  I guess I don't really need to worry about it for now.  Maybe if I start trying to get fancy and have Alexa open the door for some reason.

all links reside in the devices so things will continue to work without a controller. Its recommended to factory reset your devices prior to setting up with a new controller to avoid half links and unintended behavior down the road.
