Sunset of Java Admin Console is Premature
I use Windows, not Apple so I thought the information at that link would perhaps help you. In any case, it sounds like Apple users aren't going to have a choice eventually. I updated my Polisy so I can get used to the new GUI. I will agree it will take some time, but I think it will be clearly better in the long run. I'm very happy to ditch Java.

eisy-ui 1.3.4 - Protocols UI (Beta)
Good to know. Based on your instructions to me yesterday, I'm planing to do the update early Sunday morning. I would have done it yesterday, but we have an old college buddy (actually, we're both old) and his wife staying with us. I didn't want to risk going dark with guests here. I'm guessing we'll run out of beer and chips sometime Saturday afternoon and they'll leave.... 😄

New release out today.....Does this work on Polisy?
Hiya Guy, I tried that url a couple of times, but it does not work for me. (Server Not Found.) https://eisy.local:8443/WEB/sysconfig.txt Do you know of another way to check the FreeBSD version? EDIT: I think I just woke up - that link is for Eisy's only? (eisy.local)

eISY kicked to the curb?
Pretty much the same here. Definitely HA for sensors - their equivalents to Polyglot seem to react to manufacturer API changes/firmware updates and upgrade often in a timely manner. I do prefer my Polisy for scenes (routines) however - probably because it's what I'm used to, they work great and are easy for me to program.

eISY kicked to the curb?
My home runs on a combination of my Polisy and Home Assistant. I usually find that what one doesn't control, the other will. 90% of what I have is controlled by my Polisy. I access it only on my PC as I find it easier to make changes on the big screen. Mrs. Athlon prefers the 'Home Page' I created in HA on her phone to control stuff like individual zones for heat and A/C.

KASA node limit?
My Polyglot page is currently showing 42 Kasa nodes, and I'm not having any issues. My guess is it's been at least a year since I've added any Kasa devices to my Polisy.

EISY 6.0.5
Updated my Polisy. It went smoothly and relatively quickly. The only issue was not being able to access PG3 after doing so, but I resolved that by reading the thread about that issue here: https://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/46419-cant-log-into-pg3-after-update-to-604-from-5xx/

Can't log into PG3 after update to 6.0.4 from 5.x.x
That solved the same issue for me - thank you. I did as you suggested using my Polisy's address: http://polisy.local/

Lights switch on at random times
Are you using Alexa or Alexa+ ? If so, delete the 'ISY Optimized for Smart Home V3' skill in your Alexa app as well as your Alexa spokens in your portal. If the offending devices stop 'offending' for a few days, add back the ISY skill to Alexa, then add each of your spokens slowly one at a time (each day or so) to see which one is the offending one(s).

Lights switch on at random times
If you are talking about the Portal subscription - just delete all of the 'spokens' (devices) you have set up for Alexa in there. That should have no impact on that subscription. Then add them back one at a time (after a few days) if that solves your issue.

Lights switch on at random times
@jlloyd_UD Why not just delete the 'ISY Optimized for Smart Home V3' skill. I also use it extensively with my Polisy. I've had none of the issues you describe here. I'm a Prime member - deleting that skill will not have any affect on your Prime subscription. Adding to my comment: You would delete it to see if that resolves your issue. - then, as @IndyMike suggested, after reactivating the Skill, add the offending devices back one at a time. (Reactivate the Skill only after you are certain deactivating it solved your issue.)

The post just above yours describes how you might be able to determine where the 'on' signal came from. Take a look at that.- intermittent issues with Alexa commands
I agree with the idea of using Alexa Routines. Been using them for a long time to keep her from getting confused (misinterpreting what I actually want her to do). I have had no issues since upgrading to Alexa Plus a few months ago. My 'routines' are programmed based on what I want to say - not on what I think she wants to hear.- Lights switch on at random times
I have Alexa Plus and been having no issues. I have a Polisy with a mix of Insteon, Kasa (TP-Link), Z-Wave, Sensibo, Caseta and Ecobee devices. Over half of my devices are Insteon. I know every environment is different, but knock on wood, so far so good here. We prefer the new Alexa over the old one by a lot.- eisy-ui confusion

I get that, but it's not clear to some. - Lights switch on at random times
