Can't remove a device from scene?

Hi,

I recently updated my RemoteLinc using the 2.7.9 firmware. Somehow, I ended up with a SwitchLinc I didn't want assigned to button #5.

However, this possibly old link did not show up in the ISY. Therefore I added the device to the scene and confirmed that it was properly a member of the scene by attempting control with another KeypadLinc.

I then tried removing the offending SwitchLinc from the scene, but despite my efforts cannot get it removed from the RemoteLinc.

What's strange is that I'm guessing the link isn't being removed from the SwitchLinc either, or else it wouldn't respond to the RemoteLinc, right?

Thanks

Hello oktane,

When you are trying to remove the SWL from the scene, does the Admin Console ask you to put the RL in programming mode?

Also, would you be kind enough to go to Event Viewer (level 3), retry, capture the log and post it here?

With kind regards,

Michel

Michel,

I have tried using battery devices in both manual and auto mode. In auto mode it does ask me to put the RL in programming mode.

I have retried, without success. I have emailed you the log.

Thanks

Hi oktane,

Yes, took the logs and went through every possible scenario to duplicate alas without success.

What I am thinking currently is that we tested using our latest code which has many bug fixes and I am hoping that this is the reason for our lack of success in duplicating the issue.

With kind regards,

Michel
