tlightne Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 (edited) @automationgeek I have pasted the API in the configuration but when I restart the Node server it fails right away. Here is my log Thank you I get the same error on PG2 Node server. Edited June 5, 2022 by tlightne
bpwwer Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 You could try deleting and re-install the node server again. It looks like the required "govee-api-laggat" python library didn't get installed. If that doesn't help, then you'll need to post the installation errors from the PG2 or PG3 log file.
tlightne Posted June 5, 2022 Author Posted June 5, 2022 Deleted Govee NS and reinstalled same error. bpwwer Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 Looks like it installed correctly. The node server author will have to take a look at it to figure out why it's not working. 1
tlightne Posted June 9, 2022 Author Posted June 9, 2022 @bpwwer Sent message to Developer Automationgeek and he no longer has time to support the Govee Node server. Any suggestions for where we go from here? Thank you Here is his response:
bpwwer Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 If no one wants to maintain it, we'll probably have to pull it from the store, or maybe just move it to the non-production store so someone could work on debugging it if they desire. I took a quick look at it and it seems like one of the dependencies isn't installing. This is not uncommon as many of the Python modules are written for Linux and don't include packages specifically for FreeBSD. Sometimes they'll build without any issues on FreeBSD, other times they don't. In this case the build is failing. I didn't dig into why it was failing.
tlightne Posted June 13, 2022 Author Posted June 13, 2022 @bpwwer Is there a way to notify the developer community that Automation geek is no longer supporting any of his node servers to see if anybody wants to pick up support for any of them? Thank again for all you do.

Michel Kohanim Posted June 13, 2022 Posted June 13, 2022 @bpwwer, Yes, of course and through our slack channel. With kind regards, Michel 1
