JTsao Posted February 15, 2023 Posted February 15, 2023 It seems like there are a lot of current problems with IoX, PG3, PG3x or the various packages that they depend on - I have a Polisy that works, that I would like to keep working, and an eisy and Zmatter that I eventually want to move to (currently test units that are not controlling anything) - I am running IoX 5.5.5 on both and PG3 3.1.17 and PG3x at 3.1.22 - it's too time consuming to read all of the forums to figure out what works and what doesn't - I think I need a green, yellow or red light based on user consensus to indicate if I should push the button on either box - so, what does everyone recommend as of today, 2/14/2023? Push, or wait? Can UDI add something to the forums indicating if there are significant problems if I push the button?

Many were able to get their systems up and running properly but it took time and effort. The easiest way to keep up with what's good/bad is to check the latest firmware release page as it'll have the latest bug fixes for whatever popped up in earlier releases. Generally the early adopters comment their issues in the first few posts so it's easier to keep up reading the first 1 or 2 pages before things go sideways. From Udi's perspective, it wouldn't make sense to say yay or nay to a release since the latest is suppose to fix what was previously broken. The main broken things I've seen with the latest release deals more with individual node servers than the system overall. Personally, I would hold off if you're looking for a a stress free upgrade. While I'm confident that my system would be fine, I'm waiting for that reason. I don't have the time right now to focus on troubleshooting.
