mitch236 Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 Since I'm not an electrician, I have to ask. Wouldn't it be nice if there were an inline filter for CFL circuits? I have one outdoor circuit that is controlled by a Switchlinc dimmer. When the circuit is On, I have some occasional reliability issues. When the circuit is Off, my system is completely stable. Is it worthwile to figure out to put a filter inline?
Brian H Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 The Leviton 8287 is a wired in filter and is rated at five amps. Is the CFL dimmable? Using a dimmer type switch on a CFL can sometimes lead to noise and reliability problems. Even if you are only using it at 100%.
mitch236 Posted March 18, 2010 Author Posted March 18, 2010 Sorry, I meant to say, I'm using the Switchlinc Relay!!!
