Brian H Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 I don't think I have done any changes to IE8 lately, but today I am getting "phpBB Critical Error Could not connect to database" messages when I try and access the forums and many time when I try and read a message in the forums. Anyone else seeing this message? Sometimes a refresh will then get me into the forums or to the thread I was trying to access. Earlier access today didn't show this error message. Just tonight.
markens Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 I've been seeing this message intermittently today as well, using firefox. It seems to have cleared up in the past hour. One thing I've noticed in the past is that this forum software seems to frequently get confused about session status. Often I've found that clearing all cookies for the site, then logging in again, will clear the problem.
