I'm thinking of buying the SH thermostats either 2491T1 or 2491T7 with the Insteon add-on and use it with my ISY. Do I really need 2491T7 with 7-day programming feature or I can get the 2491T1 and use my ISY to program it as a 7-day function?

My first thermostat was the 2491T7 and never used the programming feature in the thermostat as it seamed like an involved clumsy process to deal with. Instead I have found it very easy to create and change programs in the ISY to control the thermostat. So my second thermostat was the 2491T1.

AFAIK, the difference is the ability to add the humidistat to the 7-day and not the daily.

So, the answer to my question is get the 2491T1 (daily) and use ISY to program it as many days as I need as long as I don't need the humidistat function.
