Found an old post stating that PG2 should not be deleted due to UDX and Mongo dependancies.

Is it now possible to remove PG2 and use ports 80 & 443 for IoX instead of ports 8080 & 8443?

I use and enjoy my ISY 994 and Polisy every day.

 

Can't offer any insight about freeing up ports 80 & 443 for IoX.

One potential caveat:  Wifi configuration

I believe that removing PG2 may be problematic for managing settings for Polisy Wifi - I have not found any way to configure Polisy Wifi settings in PG3 to date, nor the the Admin Console; only available in PG2.  SSH/command line editing is not encouraged by mangement.

Your mileage may vary.

@mapeter This is something UDI would need to answer directly. Best to open a support ticket to ask the question directly to UDI.

Doubtful any user-to-user support would give a valid answer since only UDI knows the dependencies of the systems they've developed. 

Thanks for the responses.  I was going to submit a ticket with the question and decided to bite the bullet and order an eISY instead.  I figured it was time to get to the latest hardware platform.
