Looking for some guidance on posting info from an ISY994 to InfluxDB cloud. The TLS connection is failing and I suspect it's due to the limited cipher suites on the ISY. I can post to InfluxDB using Postman with no issue, but not ISY. 

  • Are there any option to enhance the ciphers offered on ISY994 (guessing no)
  • Does eISY offer stronger/more current ciphers? If so, is it published somewhere?
  • Is there a way to leverage the UD Portal as a sort of relay or proxy for an outbound rest call from an ISY? I know I can receive incoming requests via portal, but haven't seen anything outbound.

Answering the questions on the 2nd bullet would be helpful with your reply. I know 994 is obsolete, I don't know what eisy provides. 

Hi Ryan,

eisy provides all cipher suites supported by TLS 1.2 and TLS 1.3. We are slowly disabling services that require TLS 1.1.
