chris932 Posted July 27, 2023 Posted July 27, 2023 I just noticed ISY was offline from a 3rd party integration with an invalid credentials error. After some troubleshooting (because obviously this can't be a password issue) turns out the ISY reverted back to the default admin/admin user and password. What could possibly cause this? Once I login all the devices, scenes, and program appear to be working. It was working no less than 4 hours ago when outside lighting turned on.
lilyoyo1 Posted July 27, 2023 Posted July 27, 2023 Nothing unless you recently upgraded your firmware. Depending on your firmware proof to the upgrade, if you upgraded your firmware, your password would change
chris932 Posted August 3, 2023 Author Posted August 3, 2023 Now I noticed the time zone is stuck on USA, CA Los Angeles and this causes issues with my scheduled programs. I try to set the correct timezone but it doesn't save. I tested the SD card and can read it all without any errors.
chris932 Posted August 3, 2023 Author Posted August 3, 2023 NTP server too, I set it to a local NTP on the LAN but it keeps reverting back to ntp.org server
chris932 Posted August 3, 2023 Author Posted August 3, 2023 Also in system status it shows startup time was today 10 AM, but I did not reboot it.
chris932 Posted August 3, 2023 Author Posted August 3, 2023 Also the Admin Console Java app is very slow and not responsive when I attempt multiple tasks in sequence. There is a red flag in the lower left corner when it is failing to respond.
MrBill Posted August 3, 2023 Posted August 3, 2023 Help > about what are both version numbers listed?
chris932 Posted August 3, 2023 Author Posted August 3, 2023 I'm unable to check right now because the ISY has gone offline. However, I doubt any of this is due to a mismatch of the UI and server versions.
chris932 Posted August 3, 2023 Author Posted August 3, 2023 I went to reboot and noticed only the power light is on, and flickering at that. With a new power supply it seems to have accepted the time zone setting, even logged in via telnet and rebooted. Hopefully it doesn't go down again 😁
Brian H Posted August 3, 2023 Posted August 3, 2023 Power supplies going bad is a problem. I have had as others here also have had. With success of working again with the new supply. My ISY994i was not too reliable. When I rebooted it the LEDs flashed on and off as the supply tried to keep the ISY994i running. A replacement corrected the issue. UDI sold a 12V 2A supply as a spare part.
