You wouldn't be able to unless someone adds support to the nodeserver. You're next best step would be to use a supported device like the ecobee

In my opinion yes for various reasons (Looks mainly). I love mine. We use the ecobee premium but it works with all versions. I only chose the premium due to the looks. While it has features the others do not, I don't really use them and wouldn't say it's worth paying extra for. While I no longer use the nodeserver since I use C4 now, it is actively being developed and worked really well when I did use it.

If in fact Honeywell Home is no longer an option, I have several Honeywell T6 Pro Zwave and am happy with them. This thermostat supports up to 3H/2C heat pumps, 2H/2C conventional, and dual fuel. Supports use of either a wired indoor, or a wired outdoor temp sensor (but not both). The outside temp sensor that works with it is Honeywell C7089U . It can use its local sensor, or the wired indoor sensor, or the average of the wired indoor sensor and its local sensor, for controlling. The only feature that the T6 Pro Zwave does not have that I miss is that it is not capable of showing the outside temperature on its display (even with a wired outdoor temp sensor connected). Kentinada Posted January 5 Author Posted January 5 @wmcneil so a little more detail. Sorry if I confused things. I have Honeywell/Resideo T9 thermostats. One upstairs and one downstairs. I wanted to connect them to my eisy through the Honeywell node server. I used this in my old house with RTH95xx (don't remember exact model numbers) thermostats and my ISY994i. The node server instructions have you create an account on the Honeywell/Resideo Home Developer site. I already had an account but my password was not working. I have tried many times to get a password reset to no avail. I have been communicating with Honeywell Home through FB Messenger. They gave me the email address for the support group for this which, by the way, was not anywhere on their website. I have been trying to get a response for 3 weeks and have heard nothing. I told the Honeywell Home people through FB Messenger and they said they'd reach out to them. Nothing. So I assume this is dead. AND even if it's not, I'm not interested in staying with a product that is so poorly supported.

Ecobee is currently supported by plugin but requires a cloud service connection similar to the Honeywell, although I believe the API is public and supported. Venstar ColorTouch thermostats also have a plugin and are local (no cloud service), but they are expensive. I am currently working on a Nest plugin for the Nest thermostat that will require a cloud service connection and either 1) fees to be paid for by UD or other to support the connection or 2) each individual user to pay $5 and setup a Google developer account similar to the Honeywell thermostat plugin. Frankly, while I don't have any anymore, the most reliable and completely local thermostats I have had in my system were the Insteon thermostats. If I were looking into something completely new today, I would look for a thermostat that had the possibility of Matter support in the near future. That may be a Nest through the cloud service, or it may be a ZWave/Zigbee thermostat or Wifi-based. Unfortunately, there are not any good Tasmota thermostats (or basic thermostat support built into Tasmota as of yet). Edited January 5 by Goose66

But rather than replace my Honeywell thermostats right now, I decided to try the Home Assistant Green to tie my HomeKit world, where my Honeywell thermostats are recognized, to my eisy world. We see how that goes. I thought for $99, it was worth a shot.

I was an early adopter of Insteon, but have been automation-less the past three years. Just made my purchase last week to jump back in and start all over. In my absence, I did not realize Nest was no longer supported. Any rough timeframe on a nodeserver?
