This morning I noticed the Polisy has a flashing green light and I am unable to login to it.  ISY cant be found.

The Second or Third Light Is Blinking

• Signature failure
• Old BIOS

Please contact support.

The Third Light Is Constantly On While Everything Else Is Off

• This means that that flash chip is corrupted
• Request a Flash Chip from support@universal-devices.com
• Once received, unplug Polisy, open the screws on the four corners, and install it as shown in the image below
• Plug Polisy back in
• Immediately after the unit is up and while still plugged in, unplug the Flash Chip, then SSH to polisy and run the following commands:
  • sudo pkg update && sudo pkg upgrade and wait for completion
  • sudo /usr/local/etc/udx.d/static/udxops.sh update.bios.force
  • Wait for the unit to reboot

I did that and Michel suggested trying a different power supply and that worked.  Very thankful for all of your help and his.

I have had similar findings with an ISY99i and ISY994i.

Bad power supply and flashing power on led.

Oh man, so happy I found this thread.  I was in a panic yesterday morning.  Thanks to Amazon, $7, and same day delivery, I was back up and running by dinner time.

I see this power supply rated at 0.6A.  Glad it's working, but the power supply recommendation for Polisy, from Michel, is for it to be rated up to 2.0A.

Is 12V 1Amp the converter for the other sized barrel connector adapter is .6A

Oops.  Never thought to look at amps.  I was zeroed in on 12V and the right size barrel connector.

Well, I just checked my original power adapter that came with the Polisy and it's 1 amp.  It appears the original and the adapter I bought on Amazon are EXACTLY the same adapters.  No argument from me that a 2 amp might be better for longevity.
