BobM99 Posted September 28 Posted September 28 (edited) I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, and I don't want to mess up migration from ISY-994i to eisy. I know this has been covered a million times already, but that's actually created a bit of information overload. I have a serial PLM hooked to ISY but have a new USB PLM to use. I have several battery and plug-in Z-wave devices. I would like to do this on a desktop, not mobile. Would some of you helpful forum members point me to the right Wiki and/or give me a few tips? Thanks as always. Bob Edited September 28 by BobM99 Quote
Solution Techman Posted September 28 Solution Posted September 28 The complete migration instructions can be found at this link: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/Eisy:User_Guide#Migration Be sure to follow the migration guide exactly. Quote
Brian H Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Are you using the USB to Serial adapter cable? The eisy does not work with a 2413S serial PLM. Unless the adapter is used on a USB port on the eisy. Quote
BobM99 Posted September 28 Author Posted September 28 @Brian HI have a serial PLM for ISY, but I have a new USB PLM to use with eisy. What I was wondering if that would be a problem switching out when I set up eisy? Or should I get a serial adapter cable and set up eisy with the old PLM for now? Thanks @TechmanThanks! Quote
Techman Posted September 28 Posted September 28 @BobM99 You should use the USB PLM, the instructions for switching PLMs are in the migration info I sent you. Quote
