OpenWeatherMap One Call API 2.5 to be Discontinued Nov 4, 2024

We knew 2.5 was going away, but now we have a date - 11/4/24.  @bpwwer has already provided a plug-in update for 3.0.  Please see elsewhere in this category for how to upgrade your plugin to take advantage of 3.0.

You have to provide a credit card to OpenWeather; however, as long as you stay under 1,000 calls per day, you won't be charged.  You can set a limit to ensure you don't exceed it by accident.

One Call 3.0 has a flexible pay-as-you-call subscription with 1000 free calls per day. Your payment card will be used when you exceed the free limit, £0.0012 per call. API call limits are set up in your account Profile section.
