tazman Posted February 1 Posted February 1 I'm considering getting the Ecobee Smart Thermostat Premium because of its ability to switch to auxiliary heat based on outside temperature. In case that does not work as I expect I was curious if the plugin had the ability to switch the Thermostat to auxiliary heat mode? I appreciate any feedback anybody could supply about the auxiliary heat function of the Ecobee. Quote

The Venstar T7900 has that capability, and there is a plugin for it. But the plugin itself doesn't have the ability to switch heating mode to auxiliary. Quote
