Restore IoX

Featured Replies

Posted

I have a program that turns on a group of lights.

If

"A" is on  or "B' is on   or "C" is on

Then

turn A on turn B on turn C on

The program was working without issues until today when a switch would not trigger any other switch.

I did a restore on each switch and could not resolve the issue.

I disabled, then enabled the program with a "save changes" with each change.  Nothing was resolved.

I then did a restore IoX.  Ugh.

The IoX backup that was restored is not my latest backup.

In addition, I have an on/off outlet and a on/off dimmer outlet.  I can't establish communication with either.  I have tried to manually set the devices into linking mode but can't communicate with them. (green light blinks rapidly)

Questions:

1.  How can I select which backup is used for the restore?

2.  Any idea what may have caused the loss of links in the program?

3.  Any suggestions on establishing communication with the outlets?

Thanks

1- you can usually choose the backup file by browsing your computer

2- Could you see the status changes in the admin console when operating the switches manually?

3- If the switches are already listed in the admin console, did you delete them first?

For posterity...what did you end up doing?
