Scheduled actions still not working?

I'm still unable to get any schedule working. I've tried sunrise, sunset, and specific times and it never activates.

I read in an earlier thread somebody said just wait a few days and it might start working but it's been much longer than that now and and on a single schedule is working yet.

I could have worked around this if the Google home integration was working, but since there is still no universal devices connection in Google home, I can't even use it to control my devices.

@TInoue welcome to the forums. In order to help please let us know a few more details.

What eisy firmware are you running? Please see admin console “Help” -> “About” and give exact number you see for firmware. Also confirm UI matches that Firmware version.

Please share your program. Right click on the program you need help with then select the last option “COPY to Clipboard” (be sure you “COPY” to clipboard). Then paste that as text in your reply. (Please don’t post a screenshot of the program. It’s much easier for us to help modify the program as text rather than a picture.)

More than likely you have multiple “to” items and they are not all “True” at the same time.

Another option to review is if the program is in a folder. Does the folder have conditions that are not true? This will not allow any programs in that folder to run. If it is in the root “my programs” folder be sure there are NO conditions in that folder. For that it would be fine to post a screenshot of the folder conditions to share with us.

For the program itself is the icon partially red? That would mean the last time it ran it was “False” so it triggered, but just ran the “ELSE” section. If “else” is blank then it did nothing. Please refer to the wiki for color meanings: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY_Programs:Icon_Colors

Lastly, confirm the program did not run by looking at the “Summary” tab in programs. It should have a “Last Run” time and ”Next run” time showing.

There should be a way to get Google Home to work with UD. You need an active portal license. I don’t use Google Home so can’t help you, but lots of others do use it. There should be help in the Wiki to find the proper connection. Or some help in the Google Home area of the forums.

Thanks for your input. Right now I'm using UD Mobile for everything since my PC is down.

However, I did check the "last runtime" and then forced a "Run Then" to see what happens when the 'then' clause runs. It works exactly as desired.

But, I think I found the problem - the clock it's using is not my local time, it's Pacific time. I discovered this after forcing the run and noting the "last run time" was three hours before my local time. So I'll try kludging it by setting the run times to 3 hours before I actually want them.

Is there some way of configuring the date/time on the EISY? Perhaps it's as simple as resetting its clock? I've looked through the configuration settings but don't see any way of accessing the controller.

The eisy isn't meant to be used with just UD Mobile. Some things need to be configured in IoX. In the Configuration settings (in IoX) you define the timezone you're in, and the controller will get the time automatically, from a time server.

If you have no PC, then I figure you don't have a way of running IoX to set that up.

Ok, up and running on my laptop and got IoX running and set location. Everything makes sense now.

much better. Thanks for the tip. This should get me running again.
