Scotch99 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I already had the eisy, and I got the notice about IoX 6, so I logged in to the local admin portal, created a backup for IoX 5.8.4, and then initiated Upgrade Packages. Periodically, the Upgrade in progress box would come up. Eventually (30-60 minutes) the windows closed. I waited another hour and tried the IoX finder to log in, but no hardware was visible. I cleared my java cashe again and got a fresh start.jnlp and the finder still showed no unit. I tried by IP with version port numbers 8443, 443, 8080, etc. If it was a listed variation in the forum help, I tried it. Nothing worked. I power cycled everything (router, eisy, computer, etc) and nothing worked. I figured I would try again later in the week, as there was normal work to deal with. Fast forward 4 days, and I try again, I launch the finder and there is my eisy! I log in with local credentials, and things are looking good, but voice commands through Alex are still not working. Alexia reports that it can't reach my hub. I log in to the ISY portal, and my eisy still shows the old IoX, and it is offline. I go back to the eisy via the local admin portal to Configuration Portals and get a message saying Port Setting/Account Management has been moved to eisy UI https://eisy.local/setting/portal. I try that address and the browser reports Hmmm… can't reach this page eisy.local refused to connect. I troubleshoot and this https://192.168.50.XX:8443/settings/portal, and I get a login and password box. My local credentials don't work, but my web credentials do. However, once I authenticate, I get an error message that settings/portal doesn't exist. The next step appears to be login to the new eisy UI and restart the portal service but when I get past the login step the setting/portal not found message stumps me. I tried to ssh in and it report port 22 refused connection. How do I get the eisy back online so portal integrations will work? Quote
Techman Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Can you acces the portal using this address: https://my.isy.io/index.htm If you're on a MAC it could be blocking the port Edited 1 hour ago by Techman Quote
Geddy Posted 36 minutes ago Posted 36 minutes ago 2 hours ago, Scotch99 said: How do I get the eisy back online so portal integrations will work? What you describe above sounds like a failed or corrupted update that somehow allowed the eisy to become visible again (without you doing too much other than what you described). I would suggest opening a support ticket with UD to have them review your information and give you troubleshooting tips. https://www.universal-devices.com/my-tickets I'm not sure what OS you had if you were still on 5.8.4. It's possible you had an updated OS that the update attempted to run and what you describe about the portal being available in eisy-ui is something that @bmercier commented on elsewhere in a reply to somebody. But if you're not able to get into eisy-ui to approve the portal connection then I'm not sure what to suggest. Don't go trying random SSH commands until you've opened a ticket and UD tells you if you need to connect via SSH and they'll tell you what commands to issue. If you just randomly find commands mentioned on other replies they might not directly relate to your issues and could put your system into more trouble than it might be currently. Quote
