9 hours ago9 hr I know this device is deprecated. But I paid more than $200 for it and its PLM several years ago, and I am not going to purchase a newer model. It has been working flawlessly since mid-2001. While attempting to set up my holiday lights this year, I found that one of the X10 programs for the light was not working properly. I checked the bulb, and it needed replacement. Now I know that X10 is an old technology, but I do use it in my setup, which includes Z-Wave door locks, X10 light switches, and Insteon light switches. In addition, I have purchased a new Windows computer in the last several weeks. I downloaded and copied the admin.jnIp to my desktop. Now strange things start to happen. And the interesting thing is that the strange things happen and then they do not happen and then they happen again.First the ISY Finder came up and it could not find my device, even though I knew it was plugged in. Now this has happened before, so I was patient, and eventually it found it. I looked on my desktop, and it shows now a new icon ISY994 Administrative Console. Now when I click on this icon or the admin icon, I get the first panel that is shown in the attachment.I wait patiently and then click either one of them and the Administrative Console appears with the Authenticate Panel for my ISY. I know it is my ISY because it is the only one in the house, and it has the name that I gave it four years ago. I enter my last known User ID and Password, and it DOES NOT WORK. I scratch my head for awhile, remember that the default is admin/admin, and it lets me in.All of my devices are listed under Main | Network | <ISY device name>. However, none of my programs are shown under Programs | Details | My Programs. In fact, yesterday it showed some folders under My programs like Before Sunset and After Sunset. But today, there is nothing. I remember setting up folders there several years ago, and they were there yesterday. In addition, I frequently get a panel that is shown second in the attached document. This happens randomly when I click on various places trying to find the Programs. The programs still work, that is the front and back porch lights comes on at sunset and turn off at 1 AM and sunrise respectively. The doors lock at sunset and again at 10 PM. All my voice commands through Alexa and Google Home work just fine. This leads me to believe that the programs are stored in the PLM, and this is why I cannot see them in the ISY.I also tried to restore a save from about two years ago. The zip file begins with ISY-Backup.v5.3.4_<Date of Backup>. When I do so, I get the panel that is shown third in the attached document. I think this is why there are no folders in the program section of the Console because when I attempt the import, one of the warnings is... This will clear the contents of your ISY.When I do Help | About in the Administrative Console. I get the fourth panel in the attachment. It appears I have firmware v5.0.16, but I know I upgraded it, because I know I made a backup two years ago, and it says v5.0.16. I cannot find out where to download this.Thank you so much for your help, and I am sorry this is so long. I wanted to give someone the most information possible to solve this issue.
