Monday at 04:50 PM2 days Greetings all. Recently my rock steady ISY994 began doing weird things so I am attempting to "migrate" to EISY R2. I have portal, lights, network resources, email, and programs working again (not without intervention). What I don't have working on the EISY is window and door sensors of which worked flawlessly on my ISY994. I have four different brands Aeotec 7, Aeotec 7 Plus, Homeseer Ds100, and Homeseer DS100 G8. They all randomly pretty much do the same thing:Some times they ADD flawlessly sometimes they are missing nodes. EISY directions and sensor directions are always followed; REMOVE, Reset Sensor, ADD, wait, test, reboot EISY. Once added they randomly miss an open or a close or they stop working for a while. Looking at the comm log I sometimes see the message, sometimes not. I can say that the sensors are within 4' of the EISY so comm strength should not be a problem. After a couple of weeks playing with this problem, I am totally discussed with this migration effort and ready to go back to the 994 without Alexa and the portal.Any pointers, suggestions etc. would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Monday at 05:28 PM2 days Not my area of expertise as I have small zwave footprint but have you run the zwave option to repair network? If not, you need to do it several times so zwave devices “neighbors” are sorted out. Edited Monday at 05:29 PM2 days by hart2hart

Tuesday at 02:55 AM1 day I noticed you mentioned trying a reset. If zwave sensors, you may need to do an exclude, before including to get them to add correctly. Have you tried that?
2 hours ago2 hr Author IS anyone using window and door switches with EISY? If so, can you pass on which ones you are using?Thanks..
1 hour ago1 hr I'm using the Insteon Hidden Door Sensors which I don't recommend as they don't report battery condition, only heartbeat, and they are not that well made.I'm also using the Insteon Open/Close sensor which works well, but doesn't report battery condition, only heartbeat,I'm in the process of phasing the above out and replacing them with Zooz Zwave sensors, which report battery voltage.
1 hour ago1 hr While I don't use this sensor, I use other Yolink devices and have been pleased with them.I have had occasion to use their customer support and that has been good. They have even replaced a device outside of warranty that wasn't working like it should have been. There is a plugin for Yolink that works well and has excellent support.Take a look at this device and you would need one of there hubs: https://www.amazon.com/YOLINK-LoRa-Smart-Window-Sensor/dp/B085HTMGYV

Are you using the Zooz model ZSE41 800LR?
