Sunday at 03:59 PM2 days Apologies if this is covered, my search was inconclusive. My controller appears LR-aware internally and I am able to add using DSK value, but I don’t see any user-facing way to enable or verify LR. Is LR currently supported on eisy, and if not, is it planned? I have a single device that would benefit. TY

Monday at 06:14 PM1 day To use Zwave LR the device must be included with S2 AUTHENTICATED security enabled.Unfortunately I haven't found a way to determine if a device was installed as Mesh or LR as the include process doesn't appear to offer that option
Monday at 06:24 PM1 day Found this on the web:SmartStart Requirement: Z-Wave LR requires inclusion via SmartStart (scanning a QR code). If you added the device using the "classic" manual pairing method (pressing a button on the device), it was almost certainly added as a standard Mesh node.

The node title shows "Door Lock [S2 Access] [S0]"Just now, Guy Lavoie said:When adding it by pressing the pairing button, a pop up appeared in admin console saying the lock was requesting S2 security, with a checkbox for both S0 and S2 (both checked). It would only let me proceed with the S2 box checked if I entered the PIN code. Edited Monday at 07:53 PM1 day by Guy Lavoie
Monday at 09:26 PM1 day Author I have started using smart start via the UD iPhone app which lets you scan the QR code, and I choose s2 when I am offered the choice. I have not been able to determine if it joins the device as a p2p link or mesh.I have read Michel comments that there is no official support, I am just trying to understand if there is comm/protocol support for LR since I have a use case that may require it.thanks for feedback and info. 6 hours ago6 hr The UDI Zwave/Matter/Zigbee board is Zwave LR certified however the current eisy/polisy firmware appears not to support Zwave LR, only Zwave meshThe following is from the web:To include a Z-Wave Long Range (LR) device without using mesh, ensure your controller (700/800 series) has firmware that supports LR, set the controller region to "US-LR", and use SmartStart (scanning the QR code) to provision the device, specifically selecting the "Long Range" protocol instead of mesh. LR devices communicate directly with the hub, bypassing mesh routing.
