9 hours ago9 hr What is the best thermostat to use with EISY?I used the Insteon/Smartlabs 2441V plugin with a Venstar thermostat in an ISY994 system for years and it worked great, but the 2441V appears to be discontinued.

9 hours ago9 hr I've had several as well. They straddle the line of having cloud support, like their mobile apps if you want to..... BUT, you don't have to -- they will operate 100% local with the UDI Plugin.
5 hours ago5 hr ecobee if you need accuracy due to temperature wave sensitivity. It is the most advanced and accurate thermostat I have ever used. That includes Venstar, Honeywell, and a few other brands.The features are the best. However m experiences were with non-smart stats from the past. Once set up it can operate and compensate for almost any contingency you should ever need. No remote interference with it's smarts required.
