My Polisy stopped last night. It had been updated to the latest update more then a week ago with no apparent issues. But now All programs stopped working. There are no lights lit on the device. It's off line. Not seen by my router. If I listen closely I can hear a faint clicking sound coming from the blue box. I tested the power supply and it is fine. Is the entire box trash or is there any possibly of repair?

Have you actually tried another power supply? That's the first thing I would do.

I would also try a replacement power supply.

I have similar issues with both my ISY99i and ISY994i. Try to boot,supply shut down tried to start again in an endless cycle.New supply fixed the issue.

The power supply that came with the Polisy is a 12VDC 1A unit. I have lots of old 12v/1A power supplies but they all have a different connector. Before I star cutting and splicing connectors, Does anyone know what the power requirements are for the Polisy?

Will a 12 VDC 0.5 Amp power supply work?

No, I'd stick to 1 amp or higher. And use a regulated switching power supply, not an old style transformer and diode one (they're heavier). Splice the cable, observing polarity.

Thank you Guy and Brian for your help. My Polisy is once again running fine. I was a faulty power supply.
