October 15Oct 15 So I thought I migrated. However the UD app says not. I can get to my Java console and I can get to the EISY UI. I am pretty sure I got distracted during migration but I thought it completed. I have nothing but insteon, although I have the z-wave and Matter dongle attached to the eisy, they are not controlling anything. Any thoughts are appreciated my brain can't read that migration document again.
October 15Oct 15 Can you expand on what didn't migrate.Do all your Insteon devices show up and work in eisy-ui
October 15Oct 15 Author I wish I could it is the UD MObile App that is informing I need to still migrate. On the Home screen of the UD mobile app it has a migrate Existing Installation or Add new Controller buttons on the home screen. I can also access notifications that Upgrade was performed. However that is it.On my PC, yes everything seems to function, I can control and see all my insteon devices in the new UI.
October 16Oct 16 Also what did you migrate from to get to the eISY? Do they have different IP addresses? Has eISY been registered in UD Portal?
October 16Oct 16 Author The app is updated to the latest version on the Play store and if there is a sych in the app I don't see it. The only thing I can see in the app is notifications and the Migrate Existing installation options. There are some user editing options but nothing else populates.I just followed this upgrade.https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Eisy:User_Guide#MigrationI appreciate the help Edited October 16Oct 16 by ARyder
Monday at 07:55 AM3 days ARyder, if UD Mobile is only showing Notifications and Migrate Existing Installation, it sounds like it hasn't connected to your eISY yet rather than a missing sync button. The Migrate option is for pulling settings from an older controller, not for syncing the app itself. Make sure the app is pointed at the eISY's current IP address on your local network, and confirm the eISY shows as registered in the UD Portal under your account. Once the app actually connects to the controller, the full device view and sync options should populate. Worth double-checking the IP hasn't changed after the migration.
Monday at 06:05 PM3 days ARyder, the earlier point about the app not reaching the eISY seems worth confirming first. Since the Migrate option is about importing from an older controller, it won't help the app locate your new device on its own. I'd check whether the eISY's IP changed after migration, then verify it appears as registered under your account in the UD Portal. If the app still only shows notifications after that, it would help to know whether you're on the same local network when you open it.
