ProMethus Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 My A, Off, and On buttons blink when I press them. This has been going on for a while and I have just ignored it. Well, I decided to look at it this past weekend. I removed the KPL from all of my scenes, then removed the KPL from ISY. I did a factory reset of the KPL, and then added the KPL back to the ISY, and added the KPL buttons back to each scene. I still have an issue to where the button blinks a few times when pushed. The scenes work correctly, but the flashing is still there. I have read some posts to where it is the KPL expecting some sort of response and not getting it. I am not sure what response it is waiting for. The scene that the A button is for only has the A button and a switchlinc that are both set as controllers, in which the attributes are the same. Not sure what else I can look at. Remove the SWL from the scene (assuming that the SWL is the ONLY other device in that scene) 2. Try your button A again If you still have the same issue, the problem is that the KPL is waiting for an ACK from the PLM but it's not receiving it. If the problem goes away, then it means that the problem is the SWL. Once we figure out which one is the cause, then we can decide what to do next (i.e move the location of the PLM to see if it makes any difference). With kind regards, Michel

Michel Kohanim Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 Hello Pro, Excellent! What this means is this: 1. Your ISY can communicate with the KPL 2. Your ISY can communicate with the SWL 3. But, KPL cannot communicate with SWL So, what you need to do is to ensure that both the KPL and SWL are either on the same phase OR use access points to bridge the phases. With kind regards, Michel
